We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen for the 2026 season.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Duties
Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards to a very high standard
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping,
Supporting our chef during service periods by ensuring all necessary items are readily available
Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with environmental policies
Restocking supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen remains fully equipped for daily operations
To keep to run food to customers
help collect plates from customers
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures is desirable
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work including evenings, weekends, as required
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about culinary operations within a hospitality setting
