Duties

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are readily available Help with cooking tasks as required, adhering to health and safety regulations Assist in maintaining stock levels by reporting shortages to the kitchen management Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly Adhere to hygiene standards and food safety regulations at all times

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous Experience in a culinary environment will be considered an asset A background in hospitality or serving can enhance your application Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential
