The Plucky Pheasant Cafe/Restaurant is a busy, vibrant place to work. Located on the top of Newlands Corner, with stunning views over the North Downs, the cafe is open 7 days a week from 8.30am to 4.30pm (with some seasonal variation)

The cafe has an excellent reputation with the quality of its food (all made daily on the premises from locally sourced providers where possible)

This role will include all aspects of wash up for both the kitchen and cafe guests, with responsibility for keeping the area clean and tidy. In addition, the job will entail assisting the chefs in cleaning the primary kitchen equipment as well as assisting the chefs in some simple vegetable / food preparation

Preferably applicants will have experience of working in a cleaning capacity, and have the ability to work with both speed and thoroughness.

This is not an easy job and requires an individual who has a high work ethic and takes pride in what they do and is a 'team player'

APPLICANTS NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO WORK BY CAR/MOTORBIKE/CYCLE/WALK. THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: 24,000 - 28,000 plus tips (This is dependant on previous experience and INCLUDES Service Charge payments)
