Wanted - Head Kitchen Porter for a vibrant food venue in Westminster We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic Back of House team at a vibrant restaurant. If you have previous experience in a similar fast-paced environment and are willing to contribute your hard work to the team, we invite you to join us in both small and large team celebrations. Opportunities abound for training as a Chef in any of our diverse kitchens! Role:

  • Attend induction and training related to hazardous chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure an ample supply of plates, pots, cutlery, and kitchen equipment for both Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) teams.
  • Operate and maintain the dishwasher and other applicable equipment.
  • Safely use chemicals and other hazardous detergents.
  • Understand COSHH and adhere to standard procedures at all times.
  • Keep the floor clean and ensure regular emptying of bins.
  • Check deliveries for quality, quantity, and temperature.
  • Stock delivery items following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
  • Perform general cleaning before, after, and during services.
  • Comply with any reasonable requests from superiors.
  • Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
  • Maintain all equipment used in your job role.
  • Adhere to all food safety, health and safety, and COSHH policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Report any food safety, health and safety, or faulty equipment issues to the management team.
