As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play an essential role in supporting our kitchen team and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You'll work closely with our chefs and front of house teams to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and safely, helping us uphold our commitment to food excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include operating the pot wash machinery, carrying out general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal, and assisting with the safe storage of deliveries. You'll also ensure that all kitchen and bin areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.

Duties
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required.
Ensure all food storage areas are kept tidy and organised.
Help with the unloading of deliveries and storage of supplies.
Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary work is key.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with colleagues.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
A willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work weekends is required.
