Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Duties:
Using dishwasher to wash then put away dining plates and all chefs equipment
- Assist the kitchen staff in food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Wash, peel, and chop fruits and vegetables.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes.
- Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean work area.
- Dispose of trash and recycling properly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
