Hopscotch Cafe is an exciting play cafe in Gosforth and we're happy to be opening another site located in Fenwick Newcastle which we're currently recruiting for. We provide a unique play space and a stylish cafe that provides a lively social hub for families to bring their children to play, dine and relax.
Hopscotch offers a delicious menu for the grown-ups, quality coffee, yummy pastries/treats and a fun nutritious children's menu. The cafe is an amazing venue to host parties and other events and we have even incorporated a little adventure playground to soak up that Northern sunshine whilst the little ones explore!
The Role:

We are seeking a kitchen Assistant to help maintain high levels of service and assist our skilled kitchen team with operations.
Responsibilities:
To assist with light food preparation and stock rotation.
To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen.
To log deliveries correctly and storage.
To ensure that all kitchenware is cleaned and well maintained including using all PPE chemicals appropriately.
To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
To comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that all-statutory regulations are observed.
To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
You will need excellent time management and organisational skills. You need to demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and work on your own initiative.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
