Job Description

Located in the village of Cawdor (IV12 5XP) 12 miles from Inverness. The Cawdor Tavern is a country restaurant and pub, recently under new management and with a development plan and investment underway.

This position is available for immediate start.

The Position

The Kitchen Porter will ensure that the kitchen, including all kitchen equipment and utensils, and outlying areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standard at all times.

The Person:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction from the Head Chef and kitchen team. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure. Positive attitude towards work and your team.
Rate of pay starting from 12.50 an hour depending on experience
Food is provided on shift, and you will receive equal share of tips.
Due to the rural location of the Cawdor Tavern, your own transport will be essential.
You should have the right to work in the UK.
