Duties

Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by delivering ingredients and assisting with basic cooking tasks as needed. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous. Experience in restaurants, hotels, or culinary settings will be considered a plus. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards hospitality. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
