Reporting to the Head Chef or Sous Chef you will be working as an integral part of our kitchen team catering for hotel guests and events for up to 200 covers.
Hours are 30 - 40 per week, various shifts between 8am and 9pm
Applicants must be aged 16 or over.
Your main duties will be to keep the kitchen and still room areas clean and clear to strict hygiene and safety standards. To wash dry and store all crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment. To deal with deliveries, recycling and waste disposal. To support chefs during service and assist with basic food preparation
The successful applicant will enjoy a busy and varied work load and be a cheerful proactive person.
Some experience of kitchen work would be an advantage, as would food hygiene or COSHH qualifications. Training opportunities are available for those wishing to progress within our kitchen.
