As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary team by ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-equipped for food preparation. Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks. Help maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as required.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced culinary professionals. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
