This role is perfect for applicants with no job experience; we focus our training on building transferable skills such as time management & organisation, effective team working, attention to detail, soft skills, and, importantly, building confidence in their abilities and worth.
Applicants for this entry-level position will work in a team of two to three of their peers as a Porter and FOH Trainee. Shift lengths are dependent on the applicant's school-leaving age but are approx. 3-6 hours on Saturdays during the school year and additional weekday shifts up to 8hrs during school holidays. Scheduled finish times are estimated (+-45 minutes), and flexibility is required. Those who don't drive will text/call for a lift about 20-30 mins before their finish. Responsibilities:
washing dishes, pots and pans
washing and polishing glasses and cutlery
Management of recycling and waste
End of service Cleaning.
Clearing Tables
Delivering food
Interacting with guests

Qualifications
Strong time management skills Experience in food preparation and cooking Background in restaurant, kitchen, or hotel environments Familiarity with culinary techniques and hospitality practices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting Willingness to learn and adapt in a trainee role
