We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen environment. Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for use. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. Support the culinary team by delivering ingredients and supplies as needed throughout service periods. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for cooking and food preparation is key. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A proactive attitude towards helping colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
