Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness and assisting with food preparation.
Mainly week day shifts, 9am-3pm, however other shifts may be required to help cover holiday / Sickness.
Duties
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support the cooking team during busy service periods by providing timely assistance. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 35 per week
