Boston Bar are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness and organisation, assisting with food preparation, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our culinary team.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking. Help with the organisation of kitchen supplies and inventory management. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Ensure that all waste is disposed of properly and that recycling procedures are followed. Maintain a tidy work area to promote a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with kitchen operations or food preparation techniques is beneficial. A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment are essential qualities for this role. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry will be advantageous.

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
