The Golf House Club Elie is an established Golf Club located in the idyllic village of Elie in the East Neuk. With a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our members, guests, and visitors, we are gearing up for an exciting relaunch of the bar and catering provision and are seeking enthusiastic people to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individuals to fill the role of Kitchen Porter on a variable hours contracts.
What we are looking for:
Previous kitchen porter experience Ability to work under pressure due to a high volume, high standard food operation Hardworking and organised High standards of cleanliness
Responsibilities
Ensuring all dishes, pots and pans are washed and dried Keeping dish washer areas clean, all kitchen areas clean and meeting kitchen hygiene standards Ensure recycling is completed Assisting the kitchen team as and when required Assisting with prep of food Performing food preparation and delivery at bigger events including customer service at buffets. Washing dishes, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen equipment daily. Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work as part of a team. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 8.50-14.00 per hour
