Summary

We are seeking a dedicated

Kitchen Porter

to join our small and friendly team at our Butchers & Delicatessen shop in Leamington Spa. This role is crucial in supporting our back of house butchery team by ensuring cleanliness and organisation.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area including washing up and cleaning down production areas. Assist with some food preparation tasks as directed by the back of house staff. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly. Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth back of house operations. Assisting the front of house team with cleaning and tidying the shop counters and shelves.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and teamwork orientation. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.

We are a Real Living Wage Employer.

Rate of pay is 12.60ph plus Team Bonus and Profit Share Bonus payable after qualifying period.
