As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with various tasks, including food preparation and maintaining cleanliness. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items under the guidance of chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous, particularly in restaurants or hotels. Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of cooking techniques are beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality is desirable. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning from experienced chefs. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Pay: 12.21-12.22 per hour
