We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen environment is clean, organised, and well-equipped. Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies and ingredients. Support culinary staff during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the kitchen management promptly.

Skills

Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. A proactive attitude towards helping others in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
