Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Ensure all dishes, pots, and pans are washed and stored correctly. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed. Help with the organisation of the kitchen by keeping stock levels up to date and reporting any shortages. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the disposal of waste in accordance with environmental policies.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential. Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of cooking techniques. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities within the kitchen environment. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-18.30 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
