Job Description

A family owned canal side pub, serving real ales, good food and craft spirits to the neighbourhood.

Ran by landlord Jack, The Old Wharf Inn is located on the corner of Canal Street in Stourbridge, with an outdoor decking area overlooking the canal.

We are looking for Kitchen porters/assistants to join our team here at The Old Wharf Inn.

We have full time position with flexible hours.

KITCHEN PORTER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Helping with the cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks

Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher

Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly and cleaning and maintaining the waste storage area

Cleaning and maintaining the waste storage area, as well as cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers

Providing assistance to prep Cooks and other kitchen staff, as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
