Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained to high standards. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively. Support the team during busy service periods by helping with various tasks as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Help with stock rotation and inventory management as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous. Strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Pay: 10.15-12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
