Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and smooth operation of our kitchen. Duties:
- Assist with food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools by hand or using dishwashing equipment
- Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Receive deliveries and store food items in designated areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work different shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Note: This position does not require any specific educational qualifications. However, candidates with relevant culinary or hospitality certifications will be given preference.
