Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porters on both a FULL and PART time basis to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and fully equipped to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. These positions will involve evening and weekend work on a rotating basis!

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Help with the storage and organisation of food supplies and kitchen equipment. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing timely assistance and maintaining an efficient workflow. Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling practices are followed. Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment regularly to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the kitchen.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. A keen interest in culinary arts or food preparation will be beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 7.50-12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
