is a well-established producer of Indian ready meals and catering services, proudly serving our customers since 1996. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a reliable, skilled Kitchen Assistant/ Starter chef to join our growing team.

If you're experienced in cooking large quantities of food, understand the importance of consistency, and can work efficiently in a busy kitchen -- we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepping all raw materials as and when required Prepare a range of high quality Indian starters using established recipes Cook in bulk for catering events and in-store meal production. Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and on schedule. Keep your station organised and contribute to smooth kitchen operations. Work efficiently as part of a small, collaborative team. Take initiative, solve problems, and stay calm under pressure. Always maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Be punctual and dependable -- timing is crucial in our kitchen. Plan and coordinate bulk cooking Make sure you participate in cleaning at the end of your shift

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment. Ability to cook Indian cuisine. Knowledge of Food Safety Ability to follow recipes and deliver consistent results. Comfortable with large-scale food preparation. Holds or is willing to complete a basic food hygiene certification. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Able to work independently and within a close-knit team. Committed, organised, and takes pride in their work. Based in the area or able to commute to Batley
