The Role:

We are hiring a

full-time Kitchen Preparation Assistant

with

specialist experience in Kurdish and Turkish-style meat preparation

, specifically for charcoal BBQ. This role is key to maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

You'll be responsible for preparing and marinating a variety of meats -- including lamb, chicken, and beef -- following traditional methods passed down through generations. The right candidate will know how to skewer, season, and portion meat correctly, ready for grilling by our chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and marinate meats using authentic Kurdish and Turkish recipes Portion, skewer, and store meats for charcoal BBQ service Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards in the prep area Collaborate with grill chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times Manage daily meat inventory and stock rotation

Requirements:

Must have experience

in Kurdish or Turkish meat preparation for BBQ Familiarity with traditional marination techniques and spice blends Understanding of meat cuts, storage, and food hygiene Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced kitchen Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic Food Safety Level 2 is a bonus (training can be provided)
