Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Kitchen Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchens that meet clients' needs and preferences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating closely with clients and suppliers to deliver exceptional results. The Kitchen Designer will utilise their expertise in space planning, colour schemes, and material selection to create customised kitchen solutions that optimise both style and practicality.

Duties

Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget for kitchen projects Develop detailed design concepts using CAD software or hand sketches, including layouts, colour schemes, and material selections Present design proposals to clients, explaining choices and making adjustments based on feedback Source and specify appropriate products, appliances, fixtures, and finishes in collaboration with suppliers Prepare accurate cost estimates and project timelines for client approval Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution Keep up-to-date with current trends in kitchen design, materials, and technology Maintain organised records of client interactions, designs, and project documentation

Qualifications

Proven experience in kitchen design or interior design with a strong portfolio of completed projects Proficiency in CAD (Winner) software or other relevant design programmes Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Knowledge of building regulations, health & safety standards related to kitchen installations Creative flair combined with practical problem-solving abilities A recognised qualification in interior design or a related field is desirable but not essential Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Pay: 25,000.00-65,000.00 per year
