Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and possess a strong understanding of food safety practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all kitchen operations. Support the catering team with food preparation for events and functions. Help with the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure timely service and quality food delivery. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stock rotation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is crucial; relevant certifications are advantageous. Strong culinary skills with an eagerness to learn and develop further within the kitchen setting. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for cooking and a desire to contribute positively to the kitchen environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
