Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant kitchen team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a desire to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment, whether it be in a restaurant or catering setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to guarantee the quality and safety of all food products. Support chefs and other kitchen staff in daily operations, including cooking, plating, and serving meals. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard. Collaborate with team members to create an efficient workflow in the kitchen.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is required. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is advantageous. Experience in food preparation, catering, or culinary arts will be considered a plus. A strong willingness to help others and work as part of a team is essential for success in this role. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.80-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 70 per week
