The Locker Room is a sports bar located in the heart of Leicester's City Centre; providing great entertainment, food & drinks 7 days a week!

We're looking to hire a dedicated and reliable kitchen assistant to assist in the cooking and delivering of our food in a consistent and timely manner.

The successful candidate will have the follow key skills:

A minimum Level 2 in food and hygiene or equivalent.

A comprehensive knowledge of kitchen practice and process.

A basic knowledge of kitchen etiquette.

Be reliable & consistent in their food service.

Along with preparing and cooking food the successful applicant will also be involved in assisting with inventory control, daily and weekly cleaning of the kitchen.

Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:

Properly cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene. Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes. Prepare meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat. Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls. Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies. Organising and correctly storing food supplies. Following strict cooking instructions and be able to deliver a service. Being consistent in the way the food is prepared, cooked and sent out. Able to work alone.

Pay: 10.00-13.50 per hour
