Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Support catering operations by preparing dishes for events and special occasions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages. Provide excellent service to customers by ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is an advantage. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field. Excellent teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
