Around each village, the Food and Beverage department employs around 350 team members across nine different restaurants, cafxc3xa9s, and bars, as well as a production kitchen. From American grills to authentic Indian cuisine, or for those wanting a relaxing drink after a busy day, therexe2x80x99s something to suit all appetites at Center Parcs.KITCHEN STEWARD / PORTER | xc2xa312.37 per hour plus tipsAll colleagues working in the following restaurants: Rajinda Pradesh, Huck's American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Cafxc3xa9, The Lakeside Inn, Foresters' Inn and Vitalxc3xa9 Cafxc3xa9 Bar will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service.As a Kitchen Steward / Porter, you will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Team dispose of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash up areas. Responsibilities will include maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, carrying out cleaning duties as specified by the Kitchen Manager such as, sweeping and mopping floors and operating pot-washing machinery.The successful candidate must:

• Be able to work under pressure
• Have the ability to work on their own or as part of a team
• Have good communication skills
• Adhere to company COSHH regulations and ISO standards at all times

This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

• Hucks - 64 hours per 4-week period, 3 shifts per week falling between 6pm and Midnight, working 3 out of 4 weekends
• Foresters - 96 hours per 4-week period, 3-4 shifts per week falling between 8am and 11pm, working 3 out of 4 weekends

Please state your desired contracted hours from the options above under the suitability section of your application form.As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSEssential requirements:

• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward / Porter
• Ability to work in an organised manner and remain calm under pressure
