Hours:

5 days per week to include weekends, with the option of extra hours for the right candidate.

Weekend availability is non-negotiable for this role.



Example shift pattern:
Wednesday: 9.00am-3:30pm
Thursday: 9.00am-3:30pm
Friday: 9.00am-3:30pm
Saturday: 9.00am-3:30pm
Sunday: 9.00am-3:30pm

The Role:


Due to business expansion at Land's End Coffee, we are looking for a full time Kitchen Supervisor to join us at our small but busy cafe in Tehidy Woods, Camborne.

As our Kitchen Supervisor, you'll be managing the day-to-day running our kitchen, and preparing our simple but delicious menu of breakfast ciabattas, granola bowls, waffle stacks, sandwiches, toasties and salads in a fast-paced environment. Time management and attention to detail are essential skills for this role.

You'll be responsible for maintaining our high standards of Food Hygiene and Safety, and bringing a fresh energy to our customer-centred service. You'll monitor and manage kitchen stock levels, placing orders when required and ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly at all times.

This is a great role for someone with kitchen experience who wants a better work-life balance (with no evening work required!) while still being part of something exciting and local.

What you'll be doing:



Leading the day-to-day running of the kitchen during service Prepping and serving consistently great food at pace Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards Managing kitchen stock levels and ordering as needed Supporting menu planning, specials, and fresh ideas Working closely with a supportive, professional team Taking pride in your work and helping set the tone for the team Managing your time with care and efficiency

What we're looking for:



A L2 Food Hygiene qualification (not essential -- we can provide this) Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment Confident with prep, cooking, and plating during service A calm, clear communicator who can support and guide others Someone who takes pride in their work and leads by example Reliable, adaptable, and a true team player
