Job Description

Shark Club UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our kitchen and providing exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Oversee the preparation and cooking of food according to standardized recipes and portion controls. Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes leaving the kitchen. Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels. Collaborate with management to create new menu items and specials, taking into consideration seasonal availability and customer feedback. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on kitchen equipment. Efficiently manage food costs by minimizing waste, monitoring portion sizes, and controlling inventory. Lead by example in upholding high levels of customer service and professionalism among the kitchen team.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for food and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Valid food handler's certificate.
