We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Supervisor, ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with proven supervisory experience. This role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Evening and weekend work is a must venue is open Friday to Sunday, with extra hours over Christmas Season.
Duties
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Skills
Strong experience in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Previous experience in hospitality settings is highly desirable
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management alike.
