We are currently looking to recruit a Full Time Kitchen Supervisor within our Kitchen Team.

The Role:
To give support assistance to the Catering Manager in the provision of a nutritious choice of diet for Residents.
In absence of Catering Manager, responsibility for routine tasks will fall within the remit of Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the kitchen and instruct Kitchen Assistants: -
To supervise all kitchen staff, ensure all Health & Safety protocols are being met.
Ensure Menu choices have been received from all Units
Preparing Food choices - as per agreed menus and menu schedule
Special dietary requirements are catered correctly
Ordering supplies from preferred contracted suppliers
Maintain and supervise daily cleaning schedules
Liaise with healthcare staff to ensure good communication
Delegate kitchen closing checks, including equipment shut downs
Other duties as necessary to meet the catering needs of the Maryland Healthcare Facility
