We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation and cooking activities to maintain high-quality standards.
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilisation of resources.
Manage and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
Assist in menu planning, food production, and presentation to meet customer expectations.
Monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed, and manage inventory effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and supervising within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with previous team management experience.
Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience in culinary arts, including food production and presentation.
Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is highly desirable.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Previous experience serving in hospitality environments such as restaurants or hotels is advantageous.
