Job Description

We are looking for a Kitchen Supervisor/Cook to join our team.

The role is part-time working up to 20 hours a week during Football/Rugby Season, with the intention of developing into a full-time role. There will also be opportunity for additional hours during the week when we have functions.

Current hours required are

Friday 4.00pm to 8.30pm

Saturday 11.00am to 8.30pm (possible split shift of 9am to 11.00am for breakfast and 12noon to 8.30pm)

Sunday 9.00am - 12.00 noon (during football season)

Monday 12noon to 3.00pm Stocktake and Paperwork

Previous kitchen experience is essential, with an up-to-date Level 2 food hygiene certification. Previous management experience is desirable but not essential.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

- Working with the manager to find the most efficient way of kitchen service flow.

- Daily running of the kitchen, delivering service in a timely and efficient manner.

- Helping plan and execute functions and event days.

- Ensuring hygiene standards are kept to a high standard.

- Helping with the planning of new menus and creating specials.

- Working closely with the manager to ensure GP is being met.

- Taking ownership of kitchen stock, ensuring stock control measures are in place and being adhered to. Keeping wastage to a minimum and ensure it is all being recorded accurately.

- The successful candidate would work 3 weekends out of 4 each month

- Admin hours to be part of the role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
