About the Role:
As our Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. You'll ensure the smooth running of food preparation, service, and maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and motivate the kitchen team, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing wastage.
Assist in training new kitchen staff.
Contribute to menu development and specials, keeping our offerings fresh and appealing.
Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues.
Handle customer feedback related to food service promptly and professionally.
Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
Strong knowledge of food hygiene regulations (Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate essential, Level 3 desirable).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering great food.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
Experience in a similar leisure or hospitality environment is a plus.
