We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our busy culinary environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety standards. Previous restaurant, culinary, or hospitality experience is essential, along with supervisory expertise. The Kitchen Team Leader will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive team atmosphere while ensuring operational excellence.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service delivery Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control and stock replenishment Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment Organise staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimise team productivity Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to develop skills Collaborate with management on menu planning and special event preparations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas in accordance with health regulations Handle customer feedback professionally to resolve any issues promptly

Experience



Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Experience working in culinary environments such as restaurants or catering services Knowledge of hospitality operations and customer service excellence Barista experience is considered advantageous but not essential Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team Previous experience supervising staff in a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary

Pay: 12.21-15.46 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
