Supervise and manage daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance on culinary techniques and best practices. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient food production. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Help create a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and creativity.

Experience:

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, and food safety standards is essential to the role. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
