We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Leader to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food production and hospitality, along with strong leadership skills to effectively supervise kitchen operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a positive team environment.

Duties

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food production meets quality standards. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas to enhance the culinary offerings. Provide training for new staff members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle customer feedback professionally, addressing any concerns promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in bartending is a plus but not essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping team members succeed.

Pay: 12.44-14.50 per hour
