We are looking for an experienced, passionate chef to lead our kitchen team. This is the perfect job for an experienced chef to take the next step up.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is stored and handled properly to maintain freshness and safety
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff and delegating tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as necessary
- Implementation and managing of cleaning schedules
- Overseeing and maintaining all required records
Experience:
- 3 years kitchen experience is required
- Experience leading or managing is a bonus
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work organised & clean manner
