We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Team Leader to oversee our culinary operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality food production. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with the restaurant management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Handle any customer feedback or concerns related to food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Experience
Proven experience in a kitchen leadership role within a restaurant or culinary setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to cook a variety of dishes.
Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
