Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Meadow Croft Garden Centre. In this role, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and customer service in our popular 300-seater restaurant located on-site. This role is a full-time position, working every other weekend with minimal evening work.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards. Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee efficiency and consistency. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that highlight local produce. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and feedback to enhance dining experiences.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively. Passion for delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
