Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Team Leader to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team. Your leadership will help create a positive working environment while delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests.

Duties



Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety regulations. Manage food production processes, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes. Lead and motivate staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration among team members. Assist in training new staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate and support front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Handle any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly and effectively.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production with knowledge of various cooking techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A passion for cooking and delivering high-quality food experiences.

Hours are between 7am and 2.30 Monday - Friday
Saturdays - 8am - 12pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
