Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Leader to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts and hospitality, with a focus on food production and preparation. As a Kitchen Team Leader, you will supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in food preparation and cooking, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Train and mentor new kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Handle any customer feedback or concerns related to food quality or service.

Requirements

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food production techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a knack for motivating and guiding team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers. A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to providing outstanding service.

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
