Overview


We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Team Members to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the preparation and serving of high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is fully paid and suitable for individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities



Assisting in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen lead or chef Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations Supporting the team during busy service times Support the cooking process, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during busy service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces Prepare ingredients and assist with portioning ingredients for various dishes Support serving staff during service times by providing prepared food items as needed Restock supplies and organise storage areas. Working efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations Contribute positively to team efforts, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude

Experience



Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is advantageous Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety procedures, and serving practices will be beneficial A genuine interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Upon a successful interview, you will be invited for a short trial shift (a few hours) so that we can show you around and assess how well you fit within the team. If all goes well, we may be able to offer you a full-time position following a probation period.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
