We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Team Member to oversee our culinary operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food production and preparation, and working within a team of kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Coordinate daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Work well alongside kitchen staff to achieve high performance and maintain quality standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Handle customer feedback regarding food quality and service promptly and professionally.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and customers.
Experience in bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
A passion for cooking with a creative flair for menu development.
Strong organisational skills to manage inventory and kitchen operations effectively.
