Duties

Assist in meal preparation and food assembly, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards Support catering services for events and special functions Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety regulations Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously when required Follow all food safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices Support the team during busy periods by providing assistance wherever needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team Basic cooking and meal preparation skills are desirable Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required
